Our company began as a small local scrap metal Recycling business based in the Avondale/Sloss district of Birmingham, Alabama in 1968. It was founded by local business man William F. Jordan. The company focused on serving the public and processing metal for small local foundries. Since then Jordan Scrap has grown into a state of the art recycling facility with top of the line material handlers, shears, and balers. We handle a large number of industrial accounts with over 500 roll off containers and 6 demo trailers.   

Jordan Scrap has focused on building the most reputable scrap metal processing company in the state of Alabama. The company is still family owned and led by the father and son team (Steve and Paul Jordan). Our highly trained and experienced team is capable of processing some of the heaviest and most difficult materials in the scrap business. We are committed to running a clean, safe, and professional job site. Whether it is our own yard or an offsite project we take the same hands on approach to insure the work is done right. We believe in treating our customers with respect and providing them with quality recycling services.
